From Kutaisi: Grape Harvest, Wine & Feast Experience

Take a step into the heart of Georgian winemaking and experience the grape harvest like a local, surrounded by vineyards, traditional food, and homemade wine. We’ll start our journey in Kutaisi and drive for around 30 minutes into the countryside, where a warm and welcoming family-run winery awaits us. As soon as we arrive, we’ll head into the vineyard and join the family for the grape harvest. With the vines full of ripe grapes, you’ll roll up your sleeves, pick the grapes by hand, and become part of this centuries-old Georgian tradition. But the experience doesn’t stop in the vineyard. After collecting the grapes, we’ll continue with some of the traditional winemaking steps, including crushing and pressing the freshly harvested grapes. You’ll get to see—and take part in—the process that turns grapes into the wine Georgia is famous for. And after all that hard work, there’s only one thing left to do: celebrate! We’ll sit down together for a generous traditional Georgian feast, surrounded by the countryside, and taste delicious homemade wine produced by the local family. It’s not just a wine tasting—it’s a chance to get your hands dirty, meet local people, experience Georgian traditions, and celebrate the harvest around a table full of food and wine.
